29 MAY 2008, Singapore - National Geographic Channel has packed in the
action to celebrate its 10 years in Asia with its viewers this June. Viewers
have voted for their favourite programmes and will get to watch them on the
Channel presented by Asia's favourite stars. From cutting-edge Science and
Megastructures to Investigations, Culture, Wildlife and Amazing Moments, each
programme will be presented by celebrities from Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia,
Taiwan, Philippines and Thailand. The countdown starts from 1 - 30 June, every
night at 8.00 pm and 11.00 pm (HKG/ SGP/ MAL).
Some of Asia's most inspiring celebrities will present and share their views on
their favourite programmes. The star hosts of Nat Geo's Top 30 are Hong Kong's
Michael Wong Man-Tak and Ankie Black. Every night, Michael and Ankie will be
joined by guest presenters from across the region:

During the voting season held between 28 April and 20 May 2008, almost 30,000
votes from across Hong Kong, Taiwan and Southeast Asia, were received in
choosing the top 30 documentaries from a list of 50. The votes received have
provided fresh perspectives into viewer preferences across these diverse
markets. Ranked high on the list is Asian Culture and Science programmes.
