Commenting on this expansion of the regional ad sales team,
Avinash Himatsinghani, Vice President, Advertising Sales and
Partnerships says "National Geographic Channel has grown
rapidly in the region and globally. Our audience numbers are
looking solid and over the past few years we've been successful
in creating and growing some fantastic partnerships with advertisers
and their agencies in Asia. The time has come for us to take
this to new heights. The promotions of Magdalene and Sharon
are a natural step towards this direction. We are delighted
with the addition of Christine to advertising sales and partnerships
team. Her experience and skill sets will definitely add great
value to NGC's continuing efforts to garner a bigger share
of the regional ad pie in Asia"
