Think again. National Geographic Channel Introduces New On-Air Look and Brand Campaign
Hong Kong, 1 March 2005 - National Geographic Channel Asia has rolled out a new on-air look and brand campaign themed "Think again" as of 27 February 2005.

Ward Platt, Managing Director & Executive Vice President, National Geographic Channel Asia says: "Think again is about taking another look at the world around you. While other factual channels are moving towards lifestyle and reality shows, we remain passionate about making documentaries that inform as well as entertain."

National Geographic Channel's new campaign is supporting its new program line-up push. Platt adds: "Our channel continues to evolve to stay relevant to our viewers and advertisers. While maintaining our quality standards, we want to surprise our target audiences with a bolder attitude and more contemporary National Geographic Channel."

The new on-air graphic elements feature light and vibrant effects. To promote the new look and feel, the channel is also rolling out a series of on-air IDs and on-air advertising spots based on the "Think again" theme. Platt notes: "Our IDs and spots communicate the theme "Think again" in a way that is smart, innovative, entertaining, and sometimes with a sense of humor."

The channel has boosted its program offerings in science and technology, investigation and mystery. New programs include series such as Interpol Investigates, Air Crash Investigation, Marine Machines, and new episodes of Megastructures, Frontlines of Construction, ShowReal Asia and Taboo. The Channel is also premiering 'Deep Jungle Week' in April which examines how new technology and scientific ingenuity is revealing secrets of the world's endangered rainforests.
