Singapore, 11 January 2008 - National Geographic Channel Asia
conveys its deepest condolences to the family of the late Sir Edmund Hillary
and the sons of the Everest.
To honour the lifetime accomplishments of the late Sir Edmund Hillary, National
Geographic Channel (StarHub Digital Cable Channel 11) will air
special telecasts on "Surviving Everest - A Tribute to Sir Edmund
Hillary" (1 x 120 minutes), on 13 January 2008, Sunday at
8.00 pm (HKG/SGP/MAL) and the one-hour version of the same programme (1 x 60
minutes) on 14 January 2008, Monday at 10.00 pm (HKG/SGP/MAL).
"Surviving Everest - A Tribute to Sir Edmund Hillary"
(1 x 60 minutes) will also air on Nat Geo Adventure (StarHub Digital Cable
Channel 73) on 15 January 2008, Tuesday at 8 pm and 19 January
2008, Saturday at 11 pm (HKG/SGP/MAL).
